The Vision

We sought to honor the intricate, symbolic details of a Persian ceremony while embracing the “less is more” philosophy of Mykonian architecture. By stripping away the unnecessary, we allowed the Sofreh Aghd to become a living piece of art — a testament to the refined elegance of Persian ritual.

This ceremony typically takes place while the couple is seated before the spread. The Sofreh Aghd is an elaborate ceremonial arrangement filled with symbolic items such as a mirror, representing light and reflection. Other essential elements include honey for sweetness, and decorated eggs or nuts to symbolize fertility.
