A wedding coordinator’s job entails duties on the wedding day only where the couple has taken on the responsibility of all the planning in the lead up and just hands over a brief of the day to the coordinator. A wedding planner however is someone who has taken all of the planning responsibility off the couple in the lead up to the day and who may be responsible for the successful execution of the event on the day itself as well. 

As wedding planners, we handle the entire wedding planning process from start to finish, offering comprehensive services and guidance. Wedding coordinators, on the other hand, focus primarily on the coordination and execution of the event itself. We provide both planning and coordination services to ensure a seamless and memorable wedding experience.

We would say anywhere from 9-12 months prior to the wedding date is a good time to start planning. You don’t want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed. We do recommend hiring your wedding planner right away, even for the ‘month of/day of’ package. You’ll want to ensure that the coordinator is available for your wedding date. *We already have weddings booked for 22 months from now!

A wedding planner is someone you hire and is your advocate, representing your best interests. Your wedding planner at the venue represents the venue’s best interest not yours. They also have little involvement in planning the event. They have very limited outside the scope of this, especially that which concerns any other vendor which is involved in your event prior to the commencement time of the reception. This includes hair and make-up artists, photographers, videographers etc.

If you would prefer a quick meet and greet to say hello in person and talk through about how we can help you, our initial consultation is free. However, in case you prefer to discuss specific elements of your wedding event, we can meet for a consultation – charged at an hourly rate.

Partial wedding planning involves guidance and support for specific aspects of the wedding, such as vendor recommendations and timeline creation. Full wedding planning offers comprehensive assistance from start to finish, handling all details including budget management, vendor coordination and on-the-day coordination.

Our Partial Wedding Planning Package is perfect for couples just a few months out from their wedding who have already secured their venue, caterer, and rentals. The Full Wedding Planning Package is intended to support for a longer time period and offer support in all aspects of wedding planning, including venue selection, caterer research, booking, and menu finalization, and rental equipment planning and booking.
